How much will a website cost for my small business?
I take pride in giving you more than what you pay for! I love my job which makes it easy to go overboard when you love what you are doing!
Almost everybody I've spoken with expressed frustration with web design companies who refuse to provide a rough price for a website.
So, although these are only rough prices, they give you a range of what pricing you can expect.
BRAND NEW WEBSITES
Static Website Design- $500-$750
These sites are for people or companies who need a basic web presence but who do not need to sell their products via online shopping carts.
These sites are:
- sites that are informational
- they do not have places for the user to enter information
- they require little maintenance
NOTE: the reason for the price range is you may need or want some customizations which require additional set up and integration.s
eCommerce Website Design - $1,500-$3,500
This is for small businesses or people who need their eCommerce site set up from the ground up. Most people will have a domain name already and hosting site but may need to make some changes for the osCommerce hosting.
There are many decisions that you need to make such as:
- which payment module you will use
- do you already have an SSL certificate
- will you be storing credit card numbers on your website
- do you want to include shipping estimates
- do you want it integrated with your accounting software
- will you be entering your products yourself
- if you enter your products, do you need the pictures resized be the same height and width without looking stretched.
FYI: Make sure you read up on PCI-DSS compliance when you have an eCommerce site.
Jumpstart or Overhaul Your Website
Jumpstart - $150-$300
If you have a website but just can't quite get it going, I can usually get it up and running without design changes in a couple days depending upon how much work is left to get it up and running.
If you want it significantly redesigned, you may fall more into the overhaul group.
Overhaul - $500-$1,500
A design overhaul takes a site you have, sometimes based off a template, and changes the looks to a design that fits your needs better.
The infrastructure is already there but you want it "prettied" up.
Consult/Tutor
If you just want me to log on and see what you need to change but want to try finishing it yourself. I love showing people how to take care of their site!
Consult - $50
I will go thru your website and give you a list of items that you need to do to get your site finally up and running. I'll include links to examples of how to accomplish those items so you are not simply left with a to do list.
Tutor - $150
This is for you if you want to do the work yourself but it's a little overwhelming right now.
In this case, I will:
- log on to your site
- figure out what you need to do to get it up and running
- spend up to 4 hours with you showing you how to complete those items.
